We use all new wood and distress it by hand for our unique look. The wording and stars are painted on and clear coat is applied for a beautiful finish. Choose the matte finish for a low amount of shine that gives a more rustic look and choose the gloss finish for a high amount of shine that accents the colors more. The interior finish is for hanging the item indoors and the exterior finish is for hanging it outdoors. We coat both sides to protect the wood for the exterior finish. Please note that we recommend reapplying a clear finish made for wood about once a year for items that will be hung outdoors.
